Our Story

Every Cashmere Luxe wrap begins with a journey.

Cashmere Luxe officially began in 2020, but the story started with two unexpected gifts.

A close friend travelled to Nepal and returned with two beautiful cashmere wraps. From the moment I wrapped one around my shoulders, I was completely captivated. They travelled everywhere with me, becoming my comfort, my security blanket and a part of my everyday life.

I loved them so much that I felt an overwhelming pull to visit Nepal myself.

I wasn't searching for a business.

I was searching for the people behind the craftsmanship.

That journey led me to a small family who introduced me to a traditional weaving family in Nepal. I still remember watching a wrap being woven by hand for the very first time. It wasn't simply the skill that moved me—it was the patience, the rhythm and the care that went into every thread.

In that moment, I realised these weren't just beautiful cashmere wraps. They were the result of generations of knowledge, craftsmanship and pride.

What began as curiosity quickly became something much deeper.

 

Over the years we have built a relationship founded on trust, loyalty and friendship. They are no longer simply the artisans who weave our collections—they have become part of my family, just as I have become part of theirs.

Today, that same family continues to handcraft every Cashmere Luxe wrap in small batches using traditional weaving techniques that have been passed down through generations. We work with just four weavers, allowing every piece to receive the time and attention it deserves.

I believe every wrap carries the energy of the person who created it. No two are ever exactly the same. Each one holds the quiet signature of the weaver whose hands brought it to life.
